NATE GIRARD

Nate Girard is the Strategic Initiatives Coordinator at Nurture KC. He spent a decade in the education realm, first as a Special Education paraeducator, then as a middle school teacher, and as an Assistant Principal. Nate has devoted his career toward whole child health initiatives, including for those with disabilities and mental health struggles. As a graduate of the University of Kansas, he has a Bachelor’s degree in English Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education. He also holds a Master’s degree in School Leadership from Baker University. Outside of work, Nate is a dad, husband, reader, writer, cyclist and learner.
