DEBORAH DOMINGUEZ

FIMR Coordinator and Community Health Worker

Deborah Dominguez is both the Fetal Infant Mortality Review Program (FIMR) Coordinator and a Community Health Worker at Nurture KC. FIMR is dedicated to reducing infant mortality and disparities in the health care system. “I am excited to be a part of a woman-empowered organization as well as serving some of our most high-risk and underserved communities,” Deborah says. Before this role, she was a case manager at Vivent Health, which cares for people living with HIV. There, she specialized in outreach for clients who faced barriers or social determinants of health, including mental and behavior health. Deborah graduated from Brown Mackie College in Applied Science of Nursing. In her space time, she enjoys thrifting and spending time with her family and two dogs.
