Food Farmacy, a collaboration between University Health KC and University Of Missouri Kansas City, helps moms with high-risk medical conditions improve their health through fresh produce and nutrition education. Nurture KC, with the support of Healthy Blue Missouri, is proud to partner in this initiative, empowering moms to make healthier choices.
We’re thrilled to announce that, thanks to a grant from the DeHaemers Family Foundation, Nurture KC now offers individual counseling to our moms most in need.
This long-term goal supports Healthy Start mothers during pregnancy and postpartum. Mental health is key to family wellbeing, and we’re proud to make this support available.
