KIM WOOD

Kim Wood is a Community Health Worker with Nurture KC. Previously, she worked in maternal care at Swope Health. Her role focused on supporting expectant mothers – addressing their concerns and insecurities, as well as providing guidance on prenatal and postnatal care. “I have a strong background in building connections and my passion is to help others. I’m looking forward to providing the mothers in our Healthy Start program with the same type of support,” she says. Kim has an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Science from WellSpring School of Allied Health and holds certifications as a Doula and Certified Nursing Assistant. In her spare time, Kim enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, including her grandson.
