SAMANTHA MENGHINI, BSN, RN

Samantha Menghini is Nurture KC’s in-house Community Health Nurse. She works closely with our Community Health Workers to support improved birth outcomes for Healthy Start program participants with high-risk pregnancies. “I’m passionate about creating system change to reduce health disparities in our community and improve maternal and infant health,” Samantha says. “Empowering mothers to advocate for their health is critical.” Previously, she worked at University Health as a nurse in the high-risk obstetrics unit. Samantha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Avila University. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, pilates, reading, listening to podcasts and hanging out with her close-knit family – including her Australian Shepherd, named Juniper.
