TRACY RUSSELL

Tracy Russell joined Nurture KC in January 2019 as the organization’s second Executive Director. She has an extensive background in health policy and advocacy, with previous leadership roles at the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association and Kansas Health Policy Authority. Tracy believes that broad policy change is necessary to improve health outcomes in Kansas City. “Nurture KC is a dream job in which the tangible results of our work to improve the lives of pregnant women and their children is evident every day,” she says. Tracy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from KU and a Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from Baker. Tracy is a wife and mother to two teenage sons, spending many weekends at the baseball fields.
