Nurture KC – Racial Disparities in Infant/Maternal Mortality

Missouri ranks in the bottom 10 states in the country for infant death rates, and black babies are more than twice as likely to die than white babies. The same racial disparity exists for maternal morality rates. Nurture KC works for health equity for all families – regardless of race, place or circumstance.
