Did you know Nurture KC has a support group for new mothers? It’s called Mother’s Voice with certified counselors conducting the sessions in English and Spanish. Moms in our Healthy Start Program can be a part of Mother’s Voice where they can discuss concerns about pregnancy, perinatal health and family life. Learn more in this quick clip from our recent podcast.

Don’t miss our annual event on June 21 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Nurture KC. It’s open to the public and will focus on maternal reproductive rights, our doula services, maternal mental health and self advocacy in healthcare. This event is also approved for 2.3 contact hours for nurses, social workers, community health workers and others in the healthcare industry.
