Goals of the Meeting:
• Learn about the budgets of Kansas and Missouri and their impacts upon health care.
• Understand the Child Health Insurance Program’s origin and current relationship to both states.
• Understand how and why postpartum parental leave was extended in Kansas City, Missouri.
• Network with colleagues to discern current and potential partnerships and/or advocacy opportunities on behalf of the health of children and families.
