We’re excited to announce the launch of the Healthy Start Baby App, a new digital resource supporting families enrolled in Nurture KC’s Healthy Start program across the Kansas City metro area.

The free app provides accessible pregnancy and infant health education, helpful tools, and connections to trusted resources – supporting families from pregnancy through early childhood. This initiative is fully funded by a grant from the parent foundation of Healthy Blue in Missouri, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing health equity and improving outcomes for families.

Good news – Pregnant women in Kansas now have access to doula coverage through Medicaid services. Nurture KC has provided doula services to the moms we serve in our Healthy Start program for nearly two years to support healthy moms and babies (pictured here).
