Thanks to all who attended the Annual Meeting/30th Anniversary Celebration! It was wonderful to see the faces of so many of the folks who have been with the Coalition at various times within our 30 year history, and many new faces as well. The gavel was passed from past Board chairperson, Phyllis Larimore, Children’s Mercy Hospital, to Rosemary Graves, PhD, commissioner with the KCMO Health Department and director, Comprehensive Community Development, LLC. Many thanks for your service, Dr. Larimore, and welcome Dr. Graves! Members shared highlights of the various programs with which they have been involved, and everyone enjoyed a slide show of historical photos, and a commemorative video created especially for the event. Two organizations, Johnson County Community College and Platte County High School each received the “Business Case for Breastfeeding Award” for creating a breastfeeding-friendly environment for their employees and students.

Here are a few photos from the morning, and the video created especially for the event.
