The Safe Haven for Newborns Coalition is happy to announce the establishment of April 7 as SAFE HAVEN FOR NEWBORNS DAY in metro Kansas City. A press conference was held on Thursday, April 7 at the KCMO Police Headquarters, where the mayors and police chiefs of both KCMO and KCKS made the announcement.
