Next Tuesday is the day to exercise your right and your responsibility to participate in the American democratic process. We live in a country where we have many rights and privileges, based on the concept of a participatory democracy. This means that an informed electorate (the people) have a duty to choose leaders who will serve their constituents while upholding the laws of the Constitution of the United States.

This is a chance to choose leaders who will protect children, women and families in our communities.

Take the time to read and become informed about the issues and candidates up for election on November 6 and then go and vote. Our future depends on it.
